Our Primary Consideration

While academic experience is helpful, it is only one indicator of potential success in the world; life experience and work activities are two of the most important factors considered in admission selection. Responsible, caring individuals who are looking into the most advanced areas of human development, with an emphasis on helping others achieve tangible life changes are the people for whom Barron University was created.

If you truly feel you may have interest in an education with Barron University you should know:

Ultimately, a prospective student cannot evaluate what an educational experience will be like at Barron University just by visiting this site or the main site at www.GoBU.org. The only way an interested student can get the information and understanding required  of this new and pioneering program at this point is to connect directly and meet the people of BU, which includes the faculty, staff and students.

The powerful and practical elements in a Barron University curriculum cannot be accurately presented by listing them on a page in an internet site. A curriculum detailing the activities a student might engage in during a Summit to New Mexico,  learning skills of a native American shaman such as,  "....Tuesday morning student and shaman will awaken before dawn to collect various roots and herbs bearing specific medicinal properties.." simply wouldn’t communicate the deep and transforming elements of that experience.

The same is true with the integration of elements in our curriculum. A student could study and get certified in Chinese herbology, Chi Kung, ayruveda, and Homeopathy all in separate processes by taking separate courses on their own, but being able to use, understand and explain them in an inter-related way while sharing those experiences within a support system of like-minded healers, is a completely different level of mastery.

Admission at Barron University is an entirely personal process, and the administration only accepts students based upon several live interviews culminating in a final one with the Dean, Dr. Colbey Forman .

Every member of the faculty, staff, or student body at Barron University feels a deep caring and commitment about getting to know each potential student to ensure a perfect fit between you, our community, and your educational experience at BU.

P.S. Please be patient upon contacting us, we put a great deal of time into every single student who inquires about our program. If most large mainstream universities would be like a Mac Donald’s, that serve you within a very short time, we would be that small, special, organic foods restaurant that serves delicious raw food and free range, grass fed meats, the service may not be a minute or two, but we feel the feast that comes is worth the wait.
