Barron University's Founder, Dr. Colbey Forman
Internationally recognized as one of the foremost trainers, educators and practitioners in the field of Behavioral Psychology, Dr. Forman is Dean of Barron University's School of Behavioral Psychology, President of the International Association of Behavioral Psychology, Past-President of the Institute for the Study of Advanced Psychological Practice, a Fellow of the American Medical Hypnotherapy Association, a Certified Trainer for the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Psychology and is certified as a Medical Hypnotherapist through the American Board of Medical Hypnotherapy. He has studied, researched and lectured at such notable institutions of higher learning as UCLA, USC, Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester and Leeds. He received his training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) from Richard Bandler, co-originator of that discipline.
Dr. Forman is a pioneer in the field of Psycho-Neural Behavioral Therapy (PNBT), a breakthrough method of therapy integrating NeuroLinguistic Programming, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Core Transformation, Parental Timeline Processing, Alpha Learning and Cognitive Emotive Rational Therapy. This innovative technique is rapidly becoming the standard in solution-focused brief therapy and intervention.
In 1998 he became only the second American to be awarded Oxford University's coveted JSOC title as "Most Influential Speaker," an honor he shares with former President Bill Clinton.
He has consulted and coached top corporate executives, Olympic athletes and the former Prime Minister of Israel. A gifted teacher and facilitator, Dr. Forman utilizes his considerable expertise in the field of directed communication to produce extraordinary breakthroughs in individuals, couples, Fortune 500 companies, and war-torn communities.
He served as consultant and advisor for the United States during the Middle East Peace Process and was singled out by both the Jewish and Palestinian camps as being a critical link in bringing about the success of the Jerusalem Spiritual Peace Agreement.
Dr. Forman holds earned Doctorates in both Behavioral Psychology and Comparative Religions.
